Photos: June 6 Solidarity Sing-Along

Post by Christie Taylor on 6/6/2012 3:09pm

After overwhelming losses for recall supporters Tuesday night, the Solidarity Sing-Along met as usual in front of the Capitol. It was a determined, energetic crowd that cheered the news of a likely flip in the state Senate as a silver lining. The only moment of tension arose at the end, when a pair of singers were approached by state troopers about a traffic accident: a few dozen singers, after surrounding police, followed them into the Capitol and chanted in the Rotunda for a few minutes before leaving.
