Post by dane101 on 5/2/2012 9:59am

On March 25, dane101 and Broom Street Theater were proud to host the Oak Street Ramblers (see videos here) and Nick Brown for our third installment of Broom Street Sessions, an intimate, acoustic musical series at Broom Street Theater. The sessions are themed to coincide with the play being performed in the playhouse that month. This month you can catch the Rob Matsushita written and Kathy Lynn Sliter directed 900.

Below are videos from Nick Brown's set - we'll feature videos from our most recent Broom Street Session in the coming week. And stay tuned for an announcement about the rest of the BSS season, which will feature a whole slew of excellent Wisconsin talent!

Nick Brown was born in the upper peninsula of Michigan, of a mother who loves Motown and a father who loves Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks. In the nearly 20 years since, Brown been playing music on an almost daily basis. He’s written hundreds of songs. He’s been in rock bands and country bands (currently playing bass in Madison’s Earl Foss & the Brown Derby). He’s played music at concert halls, tractor shows, dive bars, music clubs, country festivals and everything in between.
